The Dallas Stars prospects have not found the win column in the Traverse City tournament this year. They had a late rally that fell just short against the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday. On Friday, they dropped a 5-3 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets and followed that up by getting smoked by the Toronto Maple Leafs, 7-3, on Sunday.
Though the results haven’t been great, that’s not really the purpose of a prospect tournament — especially right after the weirdness the hockey world has been operating under the past two years.
