Stars enter Thanksgiving with lopsided loss in Pittsburgh, but in a playoff spot at season's first checkpoint

PITTSBURGH -- With 6:15 remaining in the second period of the Stars' 5-1 blowout loss in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night, Alexander Radulov left the ice, destined for the Dallas bench and a seat next to Anton Khudobin. Before he got there, though, he had some frustration to release.

With one swing, Radulov cracked his stick on the Enterprise advertisement along the boards, the severed shaft following him to the bench and the detached curve remaining on the ice. It was an outward example of what the Stars offense has been experiencing their last two games, when they've scored only one goal at even strength and mustered just 38 total shots on goal.
