ST. LOUIS -- A little Vladimir Tarasenko goes a long way.
The Blues winger torched the Stars during Game 1 on Thursday night, scoring two goals to lift St. Louis to a 3-2 win and a 1-0 lead in the second-round series. Game 2 is Saturday at 2 p.m. at Enterprise Center in St. Louis.
Jason Spezza and Jamie Benn scored goals for the Stars and Ben Bishop made 17 saves in the loss. Robby Fabbri also scored for the Blues on a shot off the rush from the right circle, as the St. Louis defense limited the Stars after an opening flurry.
