DENVER -- Miro Heiskanen was not supposed to be known for his offensive game, at least not immediately. As a rookie this season, the Stars defenseman was supposed to provide flashy speed, an elite stick and subtle details on defense. The offense would come in time.
It's already arrived.
Heiskanen scored his seventh goal of the season Thursday night during the Stars' 3-2 loss in San Jose. He received a pass from Jamie Benn in the slot, and whipped a shot past Martin Jones during the third period to pot his third goal in his last four games and extend his point streak to four games.
