FRISCO -- The Stars coaches and players held a meeting after practice Monday afternoon to discuss the team's performance, a slight oddity during the NHL season, but noteworthy because of Dallas' two-game skid against Philadelphia and St. Louis before playing the league's best team Tuesday night.
"We're doing an exercise as a coaching staff to try and create more ownership from them, and hear their words on things," Stars coach Jim Montgomery said.
After a 3-1 loss to the Blues on Saturday night, Montgomery said he was frustrated that "I haven't been able to change the culture of mediocrity.
