Stars center Tyler Seguin 'disappointed' in lack of contract negotiations with Dallas

Tyler Seguin is disappointed. The Stars center and pending unrestricted free agent repeated that sentiment to reporters in Toronto on Tuesday, expressing frustration that he has not signed a long-term contract extension in Dallas.

Seguin, 26, has one more year on his contract that carries a cap hit of $5.75 million. Should he hit free agency on July 1, he will be the marquee forward on the market.

"Nothing's really going on," Seguin told reporters at BioSteel camp, where some NHLers train. "Pretty much haven't been talking much this summer. It's been a little disappointing. I thought I'd have some exciting news to talk about at BioSteel camp, especially this late in the summer.
