The AHL announced their league schedule this afternoon. It was the first time since 2014-15 that all teams in the league will play the same number of games: 72. It's also the first time the league will have 32 teams with the entrance of Coachella Valley. Texas will meet the newest entrant four times total.

The Stars will meet exclusively Western Conference opponent with the bulk of the schedule, 48 games, made up of divisional opponents, including Calder Cup winner Chicago.
