ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Stanley Cup playoffs are an exhilarating, terrifying, challenging, soul-revealing ride through the emotional experience that is sports.
So Stars coach Lindy Ruff wasn't wavering Tuesday after his team had its worst game in more than a month. He was instead reveling at the opportunity.
"I really feel like we're in a playoff series now," Ruff said as he prepared the Stars for Game 4 Wednesday at Xcel Energy Center. "Now we're in a playoff series, because they've come to play."
The Stars dominated Game 1, powered through Game 2 and fell apart in a 5-3 Game 3 loss Monday.
