Rich Peverley could consider comeback from cardiac event, according to Bob McKenzie

Rich Peverley is studying the possibility of returning from a cardiac event that has kept him from playing since March 10, 2014.

Peverley collapsed on the bench at a Stars game and had to be revived by paramedics and doctors. His heart stopped, doctors said, and the procedure saved his life. He has not played hockey since.

The agent for the Stars forward told TSN’s Bob McKenzie Wednesday that Peverley is visiting doctors to see if he could play again. Peverley, 32, has been treated on several occasions, including receiving ablation surgery on his heart.
