Earlier today, DeFranks reported in a tweet, “The Stars plan on sending goaltender Ben Bishop on a conditioning assignment to AHL affiliate Texas this week, according to a source.” Bishop missed all of the 2020-21 season with a knee injury and has been on long-term injured reserve to this point in the season for Dallas.
