Stars captain Jamie Benn was skating this week for the first time since he had double hip surgery back in late April and early May. Benn plans to spend much of his summer in Frisco rehabbing and said he feels like he’s ahead of schedule.
Benn spoke to Stars prospects at Development Camp Wednesday and then answered a few questions with the media.
Q: How did it feel to be skating this week?
Benn: “I wasn’t doing too much out there _ I don’t think I mixed a crossover in. I was just working on the edges, feeling out the hips a bit and the groins.
