One of my all-time favorite movie scenes is when odd new teacher John Keating leads the lads from Welton Academy downstairs to take a look at some old team pictures in The Dead Poets Society.
I've always been fascinated by team pictures, so when Keating (played by Robin Williams) instructs the students to look into the eyes of players now dead, it strikes a chord in me.
But in a different sort of way.
Keating is telling these youngsters to feel the souls of the individuals and imagine what they would make of the lives they have ahead.
