NASHVILLE -- Ales Hemsky said he feels good and is hopeful he can play hockey again soon.
Hemsky had hip surgery in October and said his rehab has been going well, and he feels great skating.
"We don't have a target, but I feel great and I think that I can maybe be playing soon," Hemsky said. "I started skating slowly awhile back and now I am skating faster and I think I can start practicing. Once I start practicing, then it's just a matter of time."
Hemsky, 33, last season found a niche on the Stars, playing right wing on a line with Radek Faksa and Antoine Roussel.
