In contrast to their brethren in the NHL, the American Hockey League has suffered very little labor strife in its recent history. They continued that streak today with the announcement of ratification of the new collective bargaining agreement (CBA) with the Professional Hockey Players' Association (PHPA). The agreement goes until the summer of 2024.
The new agreement will surely come into greater focus over the coming few days. The PHPA's website on the AHL CBA has not yet been updated to reflect any new changes.
