Justin Leger: Boston Bruins defenseman Kevan Miller left last night’s game against the Maple Leafs after being struck in the throat by a puck. He went to the hospital for evaluation.
“Right now it doesn’t look serious, which is great news for Kevan and his family,” said Cassidy on the NESN postgame show. “They’ll keep him overnight and hopefully tomorrow his breathing will be back to normal and he can come back and join us. Obviously we wish him well and hope there’s no further damage.”
