With less than a week to go before the season begins in Cedar Park, the Texas Stars are gaining more roster clarity by the day. This afternoon, Dallas sent forwards Matu011bj Blümel and Arttu Hyry with defenseman Lian Bichsel to the Texas Stars.
Blümel and Hyry had been in the battle for 13th forward in Dallas. Now it appears to be a two-man race between Kole Lind and Oskar Bäck.
Meanwhile on defense, the Texas Stars faithful should enjoy whatever time they get with Bichsel this season. I would bet on him being a midseason recall that next comes back if he is able to truly perform at the top level in the AHL to start the year.
