There is opportunity for spin control all around the Stars right now, but coach Lindy Ruff is sticking to one clear message -- do your job.
Missing six skilled forwards and getting ready to play seven of the next nine games on the road, the Stars could jump on the bandwagon that a long road trip will bond them or that a stretch against divisional opponents will bring out their best. But Ruff said the key is simply to do what they did Tuesday in a 3-2 win over Winnipeg at home.
"We're going to try to remain consistent with our play," Ruff said of a one-game-at-a-time approach.
