The Stars are looking for balance as they play six of the next eight games on the road and try to make up for a bad start that has them 5-9-4 overall on enemy ice.
"It's going to have to be four-line games," said coach Lindy Ruff of a busy stretch that will send the Stars to St. Louis on Saturday, Los Angeles on Monday and Anaheim on Tuesday. "We're playing three games in four nights with travel, so it's going to be balanced lines."
One of the common plans for creating balance would be to split up centers Tyler Seguin and Jason Spezza, who played on the same line throughout an extended home stand.
