ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Tyler Seguin has had a challenging year, so getting named to the 2017 NHL All-Star Game is a nice reward.
"It's always pretty special when you get named," Seguin said. "I'm looking forward to a fun weekend."
Seguin suffered a severed Achilles tendon at the end of last season and then suffered a calf injury when he tried to come back in the playoffs. He rehabbed both over the summer, and then suffered a hairline fracture of the heel at the World Cup of Hockey that kept him out of the World Cup and the Stars preseason.
