Lauri Korpikoski knows his first job is playing good defense, avoiding turnovers and helping his linemates.
But he also likes scoring a few goals every now and then.
Korpiksoki entered Saturday’s game with two goals and two assists for four points in his four previous games, and said offense can be a part of his contribution to the Stars.
“You enjoy it, it’s fun to score goals,” said Korpikoski, who has six on the season. “I’ve produced in the past, so hopefully the goals keep coming. But at the same time, you’ve got to be solid.
