The Texas Stars took down the San Antonio Rampage on Friday night 2-1 with two third period goals from Denis Gurianov and Sheldon Dries. Landon Bow played a spectacular game with superior rebound control and only ceded one goal on 38 shots.
Dries, who scored the game winning goal weighed in on the effort. “It came down to the third. The first two periods we came out flat. We didn’t play our style of game so we really needed a push in those last 20, and I thought we did that. We were putting pucks and bodies to the net and once again we got the result.
