Lindy Ruff has a difficult decision every game.
With two goalies who are pretty much equal in every way, the Stars coach has to decide whether Kari Lehtonen or Antti Niemi gives his team the best chance to win any game.
Last season, Ruff pushed all the right buttons and each goalie won 25 games. This season, they have been less consistent and a little more vexing for the coach. Lehtonen sits 9-10-3 with a 2.68 GAA and .904 save percentage. Niemi is 7-5-4 with a 3.00 GAA and .908 save percentage.
In a lot of ways, their numbers are similar to last season, but the wins just haven't been there.
