John Klingberg's 'special gifts' make him an easy nominee for the Norris Trophy

After tallying a goal and two assists in a 5-1 win over Edmonton Saturday, the Stars blue liner has 39 points (six goals, 33 assists) in 43 games. His plus-12 puts him 16th among defensemen. His plus-112 in SAT (shot attempt differential at even strength) has him 14th. So the question is: Should Klingberg be in the discussion for the Norris Trophy, given to the top defenseman in the NHL?

"One hundred percent," Stars captain Jamie Benn said. "He's such a dynamic player, and a leader on this team. And I think this year he's taking his game to another level, and it's showing out there on the ice.
