Jordie Benn is two years older than his brother Jamie, and the two either played in different age groups or on the same team while growing up.
Mix that with the fact they both were members of the Stars organization for seven seasons, and you can see why they have rarely played against one another. Tuesday was just the second time, as Jordie was part of the visiting Montreal Canadiens at American Airlines Center and met up against Jamie, the captain of the Stars.
The Benn's played against one another in Montreal last season after Jordie was traded from Dallas for Greg Pateryn, and the Canadiens came up with a 4-1 win.
