CHICAGO -- The Stars’ roller coaster of a season arrived at the United Center on Sunday afternoon, bobbing up and down once more in a year of tumult for Dallas that still has them in a playoff spot in the Western Conference, but now without key trade deadline acquisition Mats Zuccarello.
Zuccarello made his Stars debut during Sunday’s 4-3 win over the Blackhawks, scoring a goal and adding an assist before blocking a Connor Murphy shot late in the second period, forcing him out of the rest of the game and out the next four weeks.
After the game, Zuccarello wore a soft cast around his right arm, and said he thought it was broken though he did not know for sure.
