Jim Montgomery has one key decision facing him in his lineup construction, and it will likely follow him around this season until it's answered adequately: what does the top line look like?
In five of the season's first six games, Montgomery's rolled out Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin and Alexander Radulov on the top line. They've delivered by scoring 11 of the team's 18 goals. That's the good part. But, as detailed in the offseason and the preseason and now the regular season, the Stars are looking for depth scoring.
So Montgomery may be better off splitting up Benn, Seguin and Radulov.
