GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Mattias Janmark was the second-best prospect in the Erik Cole trade last season.

When the Stars shipped the veteran Cole to Detroit as a trade-deadline rental, the scouting reports had defenseman Mattias Backman as the primary return and Janmark as a nice complement.

This season, Janmark has played 58 games, is averaging 14:15 in ice time and has 24 points (13 goals, 11 assists) for the Stars.
