But while America is turning the big 239 today, there are other noteworthy events that took place on this day. In case you forgot, two years ago today Tyler Seguin was traded to the Dallas Stars.
Seguin came to Dallas as a part of the blockbuster trade that sent Loui Eriksson, Reilly Smith, Matt Fraser, and Joe Morrow to the Boston Bruins in exchange for Seguin, Rich Peverley, and Ryan Button.
