Gosselin: Stars' future looks bright thanks to the light the defensive youth movement shined on the defending champs

All of a sudden, the present doesn't look so frightening for the Stars.

And the future looks infinitely brighter.

The Stars entered their toughest stretch of the season Friday night - consecutive home games against the second, fourth, fifth, ninth and 11^th best teams in the NHL - with half of their defensive corps missing.
