Coming off an exciting 3-2 overtime win on Friday night, the Texas Stars looked to continue their win streak, but the Colorado Eagles had other plans as they handed the Stars a 6-1 loss at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
Colorado would go on an early scoring streak in the first period, with Eagles’ Chase Bradley scoring the game-winning goal midway through the first.
“We did some things that really took the game out of our hands”, said head coach Neil Graham. “They came out well, but we also did things that fueled them, and that didn’t do ourselves any favors.
