With the trade deadline on Monday, teams that are sellers have made it known who is on the table — and the buyers aren’t waiting until Monday to make a move.
The first domino on the trade market fell earlier as the Columbus Blue Jackets traded for Matt Duchene and Julius Bergman from the Ottawa Senators. Duchene is one of the big three names that are expected to be available out of Ottawa, along with Mark Stone and Ryan Dzingel. The return for Duchene is reportedly prospects Vitaly Abramov and Jonathan Davidsson and potentially some other pieces, though the full trade hasn’t been reported as of now.
