The Dallas Stars will take the ice for the first time on Friday evening against the Rangers, giving some of the younger players in the organization a warm-up before training camp the following weekend.
This year’s roster is highlighted by Miro Heiskanen, Nick Caamano, Roope Hintz, and Ty Dellandrea, the Stars’ newest first-round pick. Absent from the list are any college players who are ineligible to play, including Jake Oettinger and Riley Tufte.
Heiskanen, last year’s third overall pick, is the only one expected to make the NHL roster this year out of the four, but the other three should provide something interesting for fans to keep an eye on.
