With the Dallas Stars back at practice this morning, news has come out that the team has made several new contract signings official.
First up is current Stars forward Curtis McKenzie. He has signed a one-year, one-way contract extension that carries a cap hit of $700,000 for next season. McKenzie has appeared in 43 games for the Stars this season and has registered 4 goals and 11 points as well as 67 penalty minutes.
Surprisingly, his PIMs are not as high as I would have expected, considering how often he’s gone out and mixed it up this season.
