As he turns 33 in three weeks, Jason Spezza is one of the older players on the Dallas Stars. The former second overall pick in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft has 13 years of NHL experience, and has played in 843 regular season NHL games.
But age isn’t coming close to stopping Spezza and his play on the ice. In his two years thus far in Dallas, the Toronto native has tallied 125 points in a victory green uniform.
This past year, in the Dallas Stars’ Central Division winning season, Jason Spezza recorded 33 goals and 30 assists.
