Dallas Stars Lose Ales Hemsky For Season

Do you ever just have to laugh hysterically because if you don’t you’d cry uncontrollably? That’s pretty much the level we’re reaching as the Dallas Stars injuries continue to make their presence known, felt, and consistent.

The latest news from the Dallas Stars this morning is that forward Ales Hemsky underwent hip surgery to repair a torn labrum, an injury sustained in the World Cup of Hockey and will miss the next 5-6 months (or the entirety of the regular season).

Pretty sure he scheduled it too late and no longer qualifies for the bulk rate discount the Stars had managed to accrue when they had those surgeries to multiple players two summers ago, though.
