As the 2016 NHL regular season quickly comes to a close, the Dallas Stars have 12 games left and are still fighting for the Central division title. Their success throughout this season, although inconsistent at times, is going to get them into the playoffs.
Today, I look at three main things that the Dallas Stars need to focus on when they get there. Obviously, doing these things doesn’t guarantee anything, and aren’t the only focus points for the Stars, but they sure would help the Victory Green make a deep run.
Defense, Defense, Defense
First and foremost, the Dallas Stars defensive core HAS to play well throughout the entire post-season.
