The Stars are now up for a fourth post-season award as the league has Jim Nill among it's GM of the Year finalists.
The Dallas Stars front office has been impressive, to say the least, since undergoing a full makeover in the summer of 2013, and the rest of the league is officially taking notice. Jim Nill, who replaced Joe Nieuwendyk at the very end of the 2012-13 regular season, was named a finalist for the 2016 NHL's General Manager of the Year award.

More than half of the 2015-16 Stars, who won the Western Conference regular-season title with 109 points, were acquired by Nill, including huge pieces such as Tyler Seguin, Jason Spezza and Patrick Sharp.
