The Dallas Stars closed out a shaky month of January last night with a gritty 2-1 victory over the Calgary Flames at home. The game was the Stars final contest of January 2016, and they will now enter a seven-day break while NHL All-Star Weekend takes center stage.
Strangely enough, the Stars will actually be on a break. While Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin, and Lindy Ruff are away in Nashville serving the Central Division in the All-Star game, the remainder of the team will be resting at home.
“I want them to step away for three or four days, just totally step away,” Dallas Stars head coach Lindy Ruff told Mike Heika of SportsDayDFW.
