The Dallas Stars announced this afternoon that they have signed defenseman Joel Hanley to a two-year contract extension. Both years are two-way. With the deal, Hanley is now under contract with the Stars until the 2020-2021 season.
Hanley was pressed into service in Dallas this season for 16 games but is more likely to fill the veteran role in Texas for the coming two seasons.
