The Dallas Stars have played in two of their eighty-two games thus far and they’re (1-1-0) following a rather deflating loss to the Colorado Avalanche Saturday night by a score of 6-3. While the Stars didn’t play horribly for the first half of the game, they completely fell apart in the third period and showed tendencies they had last season that kept them from the post-season.
Despite it being obvious that the Stars need to fix their defensive issues and third period melt downs, the real question begs: what is the solution? Although no one knows what exactly will work, these three concepts are the best shot the Dallas Stars have at correcting their rather costly mistakes.
