Perhaps it’s because fifth round picks for the Dallas Stars are destined for greatness, but there’s a lot to be excited about when it comes to Nick Caamano. The 19-year-old forward, drafted 146th overall in 2016, has continuously impressed his coaches and teammates with his play. He’s also managed to catch the eye of Stars Player Development Coordinator Rich Peverley:
“This year in the [OHL] playoffs he was outstanding. I was lucky he was 30 minutes from my house [in Guelph] so I got to see him play quite a bit,” Peverley said. “He competes.
