It’s July 14, 2019. The Free Agency signing period opened 13 days ago and the Dallas Stars are just under two months away from starting 2019 Training Camp in Frisco.
In other words, we’re quickly rolling into the quiet part of the NHL offseason.
With hockey analysts and reporters shifting into vacation mode, players enjoying the last bit of their vacation time before getting back to training, and management and coaches turning their attention to the 2019-20 regular season, the relaxed portion of the offseason is closing in for NHL teams.
And for the Stars, that’s probably a good thing.
