The Dallas Stars’ winning streak ended as their West Coast road trip began. A 4-2 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights made for a rocky start to a week in which they will also meet the Anaheim Ducks and the San Jose Sharks on their home ice.
Head coach Jim Montgomery wasn’t too happy with the effort level:
“I thought they out-competed us tonight,” said Stars coach Jim Montgomery. “Our energy and emotion the last two games hasn’t been what it was.”
It did turn out to be another big night for Marc-Andre Fleury.
