The Dallas Stars turned on their power play yesterday, with two goals on the man advantage propelling them to a 2-1 overtime win over the New Jersey Devils in Prudential Center.
Ales Hemsky, who is officially on a hot streak, scored the Stars’ first goal with less than seven minutes left in the third period. It was enough to take the game to overtime after they allowed Devils forward and Plano native Blake Coleman his first NHL goal in the first period.
Then Tyler Seguin scored 20 seconds into overtime to end another power play, and the game.
