The Dallas Stars are currently riding a three-game losing streak, one that has dropped them from an impressive 3-1-0 to a 3-4-0 losing record. Needless to say, the Stars are feeling a bit frustrated about it:
“The NHL is a humbling league,” [head coach Jim] Montgomery said Saturday after a 3-1 loss to Minnesota, which was after a 3-0 loss to New Jersey, which was after a 4-2 loss to Ottawa. “We are all humbled today. We were humbled in New Jersey, badly. And you have to bring it, or you will be humbled.”
Just because the team has hit a rough patch, however, doesn’t mean there’s reason to panic.
