The Dallas Stars had reason to celebrate last night, with Colin Blackwell netting an overtime goal that ended what was a very stressful game given what was at stake. According to head coach Pete DeBoer, in an article posted by Dallas Morning News writer Tim Cowlishaw, the Stars knew the stakes were incredibly high last night:
“I mean our season [was] on the line, let’s be honest. We got away with it [an 0-2 deficit] last year in the first series against Vegas. But you’re probably not going to go to that well again this year and come up winning.
