The Dallas Stars made an unexpected move yesterday when they traded forward Devin Shore to the Anaheim Ducks for forward Andrew Cogliano. But the Stars might not be done on the trade front, and have also explored trading another former draft pick, Brett Ritchie.
The Stars, however, did not seem to get much interest in the struggling forward:
As recently as two weeks ago, the Stars put out feelers to other teams to gauge what type of interest there would be in the winger, who has been a frequent healthy scratch and only has four points in 24 games… Considering how Ritchie has played this season there unsurprisingly isn’t much interest.
