The Dallas Stars entered the third period last night leading the Boston Bruins 2-0 before giving up three goals and losing the game 3-2. Unlike the Toronto and Ottawa games, where the Stars also blew a third-period lead, the team did not even get a point out of the game, as a last-minute goal by Boston led to a regulation loss.
In many ways, the game was representative of the Stars’ season thus far; the team was never dominating, but slowly built up to a good score before collapsing spectacularly at the very end.
