The Dallas Stars are on a mission to find more offense. After last night’s game, they’re still looking – but there are a few encouraging signs.
Head coach Jim Montgomery liked what he saw from Joel Kiviranta, who played his first game as a Star after signing as a free agent over the summer. The Finnish forward was a bright spot as many Stars prospects struggled to find a rhythm:
“We thought he was good tonight,” Stars coach Jim Montgomery said. “He was one of the guys that did win battles on walls and made good plays through the neutral zone.
