The Stars squeaked one out over the Flames last night to improve to 6-5-0 and get their first win on the extended road trip. For a while, it felt like one of those nights when they would have chances but not be able to capitalize, but the second power play unit (finally) punched one in towards the end of the second period, and then Alex Radulov beat old friend Mike Smith in an eerily similar spot that Johnny Gaudreau beat Kari Lehtonen earlier in the game. Speaking of Kari, I know he catches a lot of flak on the comment boards here, but he looked very solid last night and really kept the Stars in the game through the first period and a half when they were getting pretty outplayed.
